I've walked into homes where people spent hundreds on Feng Shui tools and saw zero results. Not because Feng Shui doesn't work. Because they chose wrong.
Real mistake #1: The Wrong Crystal in the Wrong Room
Sarah bought a large citrine cluster for her bedroom wealth corner. She slept terribly for weeks. Citrine is active fire energy — great for offices, terrible for sleep spaces. She was essentially trying to meditate in a bonfire.
Fix: Citrine belongs in active spaces (office, living room). For bedrooms, use gentler stones like rose quartz or amethyst.
Real mistake #2: The Money Toad Facing Out
Mike placed his Money Toad on the windowsill, facing the street. "So it can see the money coming," he said. The Toad was literally pushing wealth out of his home. Money Toads must face INWARD, toward the center of your space.
Fix: Money Toad faces the interior. Never toward a door or window. The mouth catches wealth entering, not leaving.
Real mistake #3: The Dead Plant "Wealth Corner"
James heard "plants attract wealth" and bought three potted plants for his Southeast corner. Then he forgot to water them. Dead plants in your wealth corner send a clear message to the universe: you can't even keep a plant alive. Why would wealth trust you?
Fix: Only place plants you will actually care for. A single thriving plant beats three dying ones.
